It seems that should be the first place this complaint should be sent. I personally am tired of all the “crap” about the port a potties and wish that people could want what is best for the community, not just for themselves and their ”view”.

Subject: Port a Potty
My name is Peter Van Der Zalm, I am the owner of unit #240 - 8026 Birch Bay Drive. The reason that I am contacting you is the port a potty that is stationed directly in front of my unit. In early 2003 the Mariners Cove Home Owners Association met with Representatives of Whatcom County Parks and The Birch Bay Chamber of Commerce, I was present at this meeting. The meetings discussed the video and photos of drug dealing and the general use as a late night hang out at this port a potty. An agreement was reached that this port a potty would be relocated to an area that did not block the views and submit the residents to late night drinking and drug dealing. I would hope the Chamber would live up to agreements that previous Chamber Boards had made. The homeowners at our Annual General meeting asked George Emmett to remind the Chamber of our agreement reached. He seems to have been ignored as the port a potty is still in place. I trust you will honor this agreement and have the unit moved.
Thanking You in Advance
Peter Van Der Zalm
